Poms Rise To Victory!

WHAT A GAME!
The turn out was fantastic; the game was strong and in general it was an all round rip-roarer. The first 1/4 was tentative as the teams sussed each other out; but within minutes it was back to a strong attack from the Poms and some good defence from Princesses.

The fast paced gamed kept everyone hot and bothered and by the 3rd/4 the teams were waning and some rough tumble ensued as tension mounted. A couple of position changes from the teams lead to a more relaxed 4th/4 although the Poms brilliant team work...and some shoddy umpiring.....lead to the Poms priceless victory!

I'd have to say that there is no way to have chosen a best player on ground for this round as the entire Princess team was working smoothly with minimal faults and strong passes. The boys on the team were great and interception was the name of their game! Paired against each other for most of the game the guys kept on each other the entire way through! Well played and paired!

Next week we have 2 new Teams playing! As the Princesses and Poms deserve a well needed break from the action. Teams for next week are:
